A significant portion of the agenda will be dedicated to counterterrorism, with a focus on the recent attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), reportedly conducted by the PKK. Cabinet members are expected to assess the details of the incident and examine countermeasures currently being implemented, both within Turkish borders and across northern Iraq and Syria.

The meeting will also review intelligence from the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) on operations targeting PKK/YPG positions in the region, as well as strategies to bolster national security.

As regional tensions surge, particularly in Gaza and Lebanon, the Cabinet is anticipated to discuss Turkey’s stance and possible diplomatic actions. Ankara has already condemned recent Israeli airstrikes, cautioning against a potential escalation. The Cabinet is expected to evaluate Turkey's role and response options to further contribute to regional stability amid the ongoing conflicts.

Economically, the Cabinet will tackle Turkey’s plan to reduce inflation to single digits as part of its broader economic stability goals. Discussions will likely cover policies to improve investment, employment rates, and price stability. Additionally, measures to address stockpiling, price gouging, and punitive actions for exploiting the current economic climate are on the agenda.

Recovery efforts in post-earthquake regions will also be a focal point, with a review of reconstruction progress and necessary adjustments to meet rehabilitation goals.

The Cabinet’s conclusions are expected to be communicated in a press statement following the meeting, providing insights into Turkey’s policy direction on both domestic and international fronts. (ILKHA)
