Israeli airstrikes kill five civilians, injure several others in northern Gaza
In a series of bombings across the Gaza Strip on Monday morning, Israeli airstrikes killed at least five Palestinian civilians and injured multiple others, according to local sources.
The initial strike targeted a group of civilians in the courtyard of Al-Qassam Mosque in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza, killing one person and injuring several others. Further airstrikes followed, including an attack on a gathering of civilians in Jabalia al-Balad and a residential building in Block 7, east of the camp, leading to additional injuries.
In Gaza City, an Israeli drone attack on Al-Nazzaz Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood claimed the lives of three more civilians and caused additional injuries. The drone also bombed the area near the Martyrs Clinic in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood. Meanwhile, a child sustained injuries from a drone strike near Al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza.
In the southern Gaza Strip, artillery shelling intensified around Rafah, with multiple homes destroyed amid intense air raids in the area. The escalation has left residents of Rafah and other affected regions in a state of heightened fear as hostilities continue. (ILKHA)
