Hamas called on the international community and its institutions to take serious steps to stop these crimes and hold the Israeli government accountable for targeting Palestinian journalists.

The movement also urged international news and media organizations to clearly state their positions, show solidarity with Palestinian journalists, and condemn Israel's actions.

In the past 24 hours, five Palestinian journalists were killed in Israeli attacks, including four who died in an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced families in the ash-Shati refugee camp. (ILKHA)
