Magnitude 5.0 earthquake hits southern Türkiye
A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck the Kozan district of Türkiye's southern Adana province on Sunday evening.
The tremor was felt in several neighboring provinces, including Gaziantep, Kilis, Niğde, Kahramanmaraş, and Kayseri.
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at a depth of 20.13 kilometers.
While there have been no immediate reports of casualties or major damage, emergency teams have been deployed to the affected areas to conduct assessments. (ILKHA)
