Two Iranian soldiers martyred in Israeli airstrikes on military sites across Iran
Two members of Iran’s Army were martyred early Saturday morning during an Israeli airstrike targeting multiple military sites in Iran, according to Iranian authorities.
The soldiers lost their lives while intercepting projectiles launched by “the criminal Zionist regime.” They were defending Iran’s security and national interests, the Army’s statement added.
The Israeli attacks struck locations in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, despite previous warnings from Iranian officials for Israel to refrain from “adventurous actions.” Iran’s Air Defense Force reported that the country’s integrated air defense systems successfully countered the assault, intercepting most projectiles and limiting damage across targeted sites.
Iranian authorities condemned the attack as a destabilizing and provocative action. No further casualties or significant losses were reported, and officials confirmed that the impacted facilities suffered only minimal damage. (ILKHA)
