The meeting, held with top government and military officials, focused on the recent terrorist attack targeting the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) facility in Ankara's Kahramankazan district, as well as ongoing counter-terrorism efforts.

Key attendees included Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, Chief of General Staff Gen. Metin Gürak, and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director İbrahim Kalın. Other high-level officials, including Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Secretary of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün, Chief Foreign Policy and Security Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, were also present.

During the meeting, Erdoğan and the security officials discussed the implications of the attack on the TAI facility, believed to be carried out by members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). The discussions focused on Turkey's continued counter-terrorism operations, both domestically and abroad, and efforts to enhance national security in the wake of this attack.

TAI, a key player in Turkey's defense industry, was targeted in a deadly assault earlier in the week, raising concerns over the safety of critical infrastructure and defense capabilities. (ILKHA)
