The attack, carried out by unidentified assailants, has been condemned by Turkish officials and the international community.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that two attackers were neutralized during the incident. Security footage released by authorities showed individuals armed with assault rifles entering the facility. The attackers reportedly targeted employees and security personnel.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was in Russia at the time of the attack, strongly condemned the violence and expressed condolences to the victims' families. He described the attack as a "heinous terrorist act."

While no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, Turkish officials have suggested a possible link to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a militant group that has been fighting an insurgency against the Turkish state for decades.

The attack has raised serious security concerns and prompted a thorough investigation. International leaders and organizations, including NATO, have condemned the violence and expressed solidarity with Türkiye. (ILKHA)
