Lufthansa extends flight suspensions to Tehran and Beirut
Lufthansa Group has announced the extension of flight suspensions to Tehran and Beirut due to ongoing operational challenges.
Flights to Tehran will be halted until January 31, 2025, while those to Beirut will be suspended until February 28, 2025.
The decision affects all airlines within the Lufthansa Group, including Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings.
SWISS, in a separate statement, explained that the extension of the Beirut flight suspension aims to provide greater planning certainty for both passengers and crew.
