Director Mohamed Saleha reported on Tuesday that the hospital’s fuel supplies are also nearly exhausted, which could lead to catastrophic consequences if not addressed immediately.

“We are living under a complete siege, as the Israeli occupation has tightened its grip on the hospital since Monday. Medical staff are unable to move or receive any external support,” said Saleha. He emphasized that all stocks of medicines and food have been exhausted, and the fuel needed to operate vital departments is almost gone.

The hospital’s surroundings are under constant attack, making it impossible for injured individuals to reach the facility or for anyone to leave. The hospital is currently filled with patients needing urgent medical attention, including women who have recently given birth and require postnatal care.

Describing the overall situation in northern Gaza as "extremely catastrophic," Saleha said that Israeli forces continue to carry out relentless attacks, shelling, and gunfire around the hospital.

Saleha called on international organizations to intervene, urging them to pressure Israeli forces to halt what he termed "atrocities and crimes of genocide" and to facilitate the entry of essential medicines, medical supplies, and food to alleviate the crisis. (ILKHA)
