In a statement on Tuesday, Abu Obeida highlighted the significance of the operation, claiming it sent a clear message to Israel's leadership that the martyrdom of resistance leaders only strengthens their resolve to fight the occupation.

The drone attack, which reportedly struck Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea on October 19, has raised serious security concerns in Israel. Hezbollah's Media Relations Officer, Mohammad Afif, confirmed the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon’s responsibility for the operation during a press conference in Beirut’s Southern Suburb, warning that Netanyahu would face further reprisals from the resistance forces.

Afif emphasized that while the drone strike did not capture Netanyahu, it demonstrated the capabilities of Hezbollah’s forces, adding, "The eyes of the Resistance's fighters are watching, and their ears are listening." He also warned that Netanyahu could not evade "rightful retribution."

Israeli media reported that the drone successfully bypassed air defenses and reached one of the most secure areas in the country. While Netanyahu and his wife were not present at the time, the attack damaged the residence and caused significant alarm. Three drones were reportedly launched from Lebanon, with two intercepted by Israeli defenses. The third drone, however, successfully struck the Caesarea residence, causing an explosion that eyewitnesses described as "huge."

The Israeli military admitted to a failure in its interception operation and has launched an investigation into the security breaches that allowed the drone to penetrate such a heavily guarded area. (ILKHA)
