Hezbollah shoots down Israeli Hermes 900 drone
Hezbollah's Islamic Resistance in Lebanon launched a series of coordinated rocket and artillery strikes targeting multiple Israeli military positions along the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
According to reports, Hezbollah's Air Defense Unit also intercepted an Israeli Hermes 900 drone, forcing it to retreat from Lebanese airspace. This event underscores the heightened tensions in the region, with Hezbollah increasing its assaults in response to Israeli aggression in Lebanon and in support of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Among the targets, Hezbollah fighters hit an Israeli assembly point in Wadi Hounin, west of the Lebanese town of Odaisseh, with a barrage of rockets. Earlier in the day, they launched multiple rockets at the Filon military base in Rosh Pina, located east of the occupied city of Safad.
Throughout the day, the Islamic Resistance continued its offensive, striking Israeli forces stationed at the Fatima Gate in Kfar Kila using artillery shells. They also targeted an assembly point on the eastern outskirts of Markaba.
Hezbollah’s attacks come as part of its broader campaign to resist Israeli military operations along the border and support Palestinian resistance movements. The escalation signals a continuation of the conflict, with both sides intensifying their military actions. (ILKHA)
