In a video message released Friday, al Hayya reaffirmed Hamas' unwavering commitment to the struggle for Palestinian liberation, declaring that the group will not release the hostages taken during its October 7 operation until Israel ceases its brutal aggression on Gaza.

"Those prisoners will not return to you before the end of the aggression on Gaza and the withdrawal from Gaza," al Hayya stated, standing firm against Israeli violence and occupation. The statement signals Hamas’ demand for a halt to Israel’s military actions and an end to the siege on Gaza as prerequisites for any negotiations.

Israel’s occupation forces claimed responsibility for the assassination of Sinwar, a key leader who played an essential role in defending Gaza and upholding the Palestinian cause. His martyrdom is seen as part of Israel’s ongoing campaign to crush Palestinian resistance, but Hamas remains steadfast, continuing to resist despite overwhelming odds.

The conflict, which reignited after Hamas’ October 7 operation, has drawn global attention to the plight of Palestinians under Israeli occupation. The violence has led to significant civilian casualties, with Gaza bearing the brunt of relentless bombardment, further fueling calls for an end to Israeli occupation and the liberation of Palestine.
