Russian airstrikes on Idlib leave 10 dead, 30 injured
Russian airstrikes on the Idlib countryside have resulted in the deaths of 10 civilians, including a child, and left 30 others severely injured, among them 14 children.
The attacks targeted a sawmill, a furniture workshop, and an olive press on the outskirts of Idlib City.
According to local sources, Russian fighter jets carried out a total of 28 airstrikes on both the Idlib and Lattakia countrysides.
The strikes targeted both civilian and military areas in the Idlib countryside, as well as Telal Kabana (Hills) in northern Lattakia.
Rescue teams and first responders are working to evacuate the wounded, while the airstrikes have caused widespread damage to infrastructure in the affected areas.
Local officials have condemned the attacks, which continue to affect civilians amidst ongoing tensions in the region. (ILKHA)
