The campaign aims to bring attention to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the broader Palestinian conflict, urging young people across Türkiye to take action in solidarity with the oppressed.

Murat Günaydın, President of HÜDA PAR Youth Branch, shared details about the upcoming events, emphasizing the importance of keeping Gaza at the forefront of the global consciousness. He noted that the humanitarian crisis has deepened since October 7, 2024, with violence expanding beyond Palestine’s borders into Lebanon.

“We are honored to bring our youth together with the main theme of Gaza this year, just as we did last year,” Günaydın said. “After the Operation Aksa Flood, we discussed the genocide in Palestine, the inhumane attacks in Gaza, and the global effects of Zionism. This year, we continue that conversation with a renewed sense of urgency.”

Günaydın explained that the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza is not merely a local issue, but a humanitarian crisis with global implications. He underscored the role of the youth in raising awareness, not just among themselves, but in broader society. “We are determined to put Gaza and the genocide in Palestine at the top of our agenda,” he said. By organizing panels, debates, film screenings, and other educational events across Türkiye, HÜDA PAR Youth Branch seeks to engage young people in a meaningful dialogue about justice, oppression, and their role in creating change.

Reflecting on last year’s events, Günaydın emphasized how the group tackled the broader effects of Zionism and the West’s influence in shaping global politics. “As young people, we reminded, discussed, and raised awareness of our responsibilities in this great issue,” he said. The group’s goal this year is to continue building on that momentum, bringing Gaza’s plight to the forefront of youth activism.

The theme “Youth and Gaza: Walking with Our Values” represents not only solidarity with Palestinians, but also a broader vision for justice and human rights. Günaydın stressed that HÜDA PAR’s Youth Branch seeks to expose global systems of oppression, particularly those led by Western powers and their allies. He accused the West of hypocrisy, masking imperialism and exploitation under the guise of human rights, justice, and freedom.

Günaydın expressed the determination of the youth to challenge these systems. “We will continue to expose the West, America, and their corrupt systems that oppress the world,” he said. “As young people equipped with the civilizational values of Islam, we will support our brothers and sisters in Gaza and take steps to give hope to humanity.”

The events planned for Youth Week aim to inspire young people to take action against injustice, aligning their efforts with Islamic values. Günaydın called for youth to “cry out for the justice of Islam” and strive for a world free from oppression. He urged young people to remain steadfast in their pursuit of peace, justice, and freedom, even in the face of global challenges.

As part of the campaign, HÜDA PAR Youth Branch has organized a variety of events under the theme “Youth and Gaza: We Walk with Our Values.” These include panel discussions, youth meetings, film screenings, reading programs, and debates. Günaydın extended an invitation to all young people to participate in these activities and join the movement for justice. “We will be very happy and honored to see you among us,” he concluded.

The Youth Week events are designed to engage and educate young people on the Palestinian struggle, encouraging them to take a stand against global injustices and work toward a just and free world. HÜDA PAR Youth Branch views these activities as a way to unite youth around a shared vision of peace and resistance, grounded in Islamic values.

By focusing on Gaza and the broader Israeli aggression in the Middle East, HÜDA PAR hopes to empower a new generation of activists committed to justice, human dignity, and global solidarity. (ILKHA)
