Afghan envoy submits credentials to Uzbek Foreign Minister
Sheikh Abdul Ghafar Bahr, the Acting Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to Uzbekistan, has officially submitted a copy of his credentials to Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
In a warm reception, Minister Saidov welcomed Sheikh Bahr, emphasizing the submission as a significant milestone in bolstering diplomatic relations between the two nations. He highlighted the mutual interests and notable economic progress achieved in their bilateral relations over the past three years.
It is expected that Sheikh Bahr will soon present the original credentials to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, further strengthening the diplomatic ties between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. (ILKHA)
