Hezbollah fires over 180 rockets at Israeli targets
As Israeli forces continue to carry out military operations across Lebanon, Hezbollah has responded with a series of significant retaliatory attacks.
On Wednesday, Hezbollah launched over 180 rockets toward Israeli-occupied territories, with several key areas targeted.
The Israeli military confirmed that more than 80 rockets hit the city of Haifa, the third-largest city and one of the main ports in the occupied territories, during two separate waves of rocket fire. Additionally, Hezbollah forces struck Ras al-Naqoura, a strategic area in the northern part of the occupied territories.
According to Zionist media reports, at least 18 Israeli soldiers were injured in clashes with Hezbollah combatants. The injured soldiers were taken to Safed Hospital for treatment, following heavy fighting in northern Palestine.
Israel's military actions, which originally focused on Gaza, have expanded to multiple regions in Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut. Since September 23, Israeli airstrikes have intensified, reportedly disregarding international warnings and UN resolutions. These unprecedented airstrikes, combined with ground incursions into southern Lebanon, have resulted in heightened violence and widespread destruction.
In response to these attacks, Hezbollah has launched hundreds of rockets targeting Israeli military positions in the northern occupied territories. Hezbollah’s actions come amid increased tension in the region, as the group continues its campaign against Israeli forces, determined to defend Lebanon from further incursions.
The situation remains volatile as both sides exchange fire, with Hezbollah continuing to retaliate against Israeli strikes. (ILKHA)
