With many families lacking basic necessities such as clothing, shelter, and medicine, Dr. Naim emphasized the critical need for immediate assistance to prevent further suffering in the already devastated region.

Speaking to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA) on the first anniversary of the Aqsa Flood, Dr. Naim reflected on the ongoing struggles in Gaza, highlighting the importance of solidarity and unity among the Palestinian people. He described the Aqsa Flood as a pivotal moment, which he believes marks the beginning of future liberation battles and the dawn of a new era for the Islamic Ummah.

Dr. Naim pointed to the Zionist strategy of targeting the civilian front as a means to weaken popular support for the armed resistance. “From the first moment, the Zionist enemy realized the danger of the unification of the resistance and the mujahideen," he said, emphasizing how the Israeli forces have launched attacks on entire neighborhoods, leaving families without homes or basic services. He noted that these measures are intended to force Palestinians to withdraw their support for the resistance.

However, despite these challenges, he praised the resilience of the Gazan people, saying: "By the grace of Allah, our people are still rooted and attached to their land and are ready to pay any price."

Dr. Naim also warned of the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where shortages of food, medicine, and clean water are exacerbating the situation as winter approaches. “Many families cannot find clothes and shelter. They have nothing to put on their feet, they have no medicine, and they have no clean water,” he said.

He urged the international community, particularly Islamic scholars and supporters, to fulfill their duty to provide humanitarian aid. "Even if we cannot support with weapons, our duty is to help with medicine, food, and clothing," Dr. Naim stated. He encouraged people of goodwill to contribute whatever they can, expressing his belief that "Allah will open doors for us" if there is a collective effort to aid the people of Gaza.

With Gaza still reeling from the devastation of the Aqsa Flood, the call for immediate and sustained aid is seen as essential to ensuring the survival and well-being of the Palestinian people during the upcoming winter months. (ILKHA)
