Erdoğan and Putin hold talks on bilateral and global issues
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the two leaders discussed Turkish-Russian relations, as well as a range of regional and global issues.
In the call, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Türkiye and Russia, expressing his satisfaction with the current trajectory of their bilateral relations. He reaffirmed the continuation of high-level political dialogue between the two countries and indicated that discussions on regional and global matters will persist in the coming period through various channels.
In addition to the diplomatic discussions, President Erdoğan took the opportunity to congratulate President Putin on his birthday, adding a personal touch to the conversation.
