The operation, described by the factions as a watershed moment in the Palestinian struggle, is credited with reshaping the dynamics in the region and reigniting aspirations for the liberation of Palestine.

In the statement, the factions hailed the cross-border attacks on October 7 as a pivotal event, marking "a turning point in the struggle of the Palestinian people and the Ummah" (the global Muslim community). The statement underlined that the operation shattered the image of the Israeli state, which the factions refer to as the "usurping entity," and dismantled its long-standing policy of deterrence.

“The cross-border operation on October 7 and the ensuing events have represented a turning point in the struggle of the Palestinian people and the Ummah and a major junction that has smeared the image of the usurping entity and destroyed once and for all the theory of deterrence that it had tried to impose [in the region] since its inception,” the statement read.

The Joint Operations Room further emphasized the far-reaching consequences of the conflict, suggesting that its impact extended beyond Gaza. The battle, they argued, had inspired "free resistance fighters" from across the Muslim world to rally behind the Palestinian cause, setting the stage for broader efforts to liberate Palestine.

“Al-Aqsa Flood battle started in Gaza, but its impacts spread across the globe, opening the door for the Ummah’s free resistance fighters to join forces with Palestine’s fighters and defenders as a step on the path to liberating Palestine,” the statement concluded. (ILKHA)
