Israeli occupation forces conduct widespread arrest campaign in West Bank
Early on Friday, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a significant raid and arrest campaign across various regions of the West Bank.
The operations resulted in multiple arrests, including a young man taken from his family home in Ramallah and four individuals detained in al-Khalil, among whom were three elderly persons.
In Beit Ummar town, located north of al-Khalil, more than 35 Palestinians were detained during the IOF's extensive operations. The forces also targeted several local residences belonging to families of martyrs and prisoners.
The raids extended to Qalqilya, where a young man was arrested from his family home, along with a large-scale search operation in the area. Similar actions were reported in Nablus, where at least one additional young man was taken into custody.
This surge in military activity comes on the heels of a separate incident on Thursday, where Israeli aerial attacks on the Tulkarem refugee camp resulted in the deaths of 20 individuals.
The situation in the West Bank remains tense as the IOF continues its operations amid ongoing violence and unrest in the region. (ILKHA)
