Turkish military kills 4 PKK/YPG members in northern Syria
The Turkish Defense Ministry announced on Friday that four PKK/YPG members were killed during ongoing operations in the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria.
In a brief statement, the ministry confirmed that the militants were neutralized as part of Türkiye's broader anti-terror operations in the region, aimed at eliminating threats posed by armed groups.
The ministry also emphasized that efforts to maintain security and stability in the area will continue.
The Euphrates Shield region has been a key focus of Turkish military operations since 2016, with the goal of clearing terrorist elements and ensuring border security. (ILKHA)
