Saree emphasized that these operations were carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people and in support of their resistance efforts against Israeli occupation. He reiterated the YAF’s commitment to defending the region from Israeli-American aggression, vowing continued support until the aggression is repelled.

Earlier reports from the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) revealed that a vessel was attacked by an unmanned surface vehicle northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen. This followed an Israeli airstrike on Hodeidah port, the airport, and the al-Hali power generation station. The Sanaa-based Yemeni Ministry of Health confirmed that five people were killed and 45 others injured in this attack.

The latest operation by the Yemeni forces comes after they successfully targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv with a missile strike, coinciding with the arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Local sources reported that Israeli aircraft responded by targeting civilian infrastructure, including a port and power stations.

In his statement, Saree warned that continued targeting of civilians by Israel would be met with reciprocal actions, stressing that Yemen's bank of targets within Israel remains vast and strategic. He also reaffirmed Yemen's preparedness for further military operations, signaling their intent to maintain pressure until Israeli expansionist plans are thwarted.

Additionally, the YAF had earlier shot down an American MQ-9 Reaper drone over the northern governorate of Saada, further showcasing their capability to intercept hostile activity. (ILKHA)
