Organized by the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform (ANFIDAP), the march will commence at Kurtuluş Park at 13:30 and culminate at Anadolu Square.

Under the slogan "Stand Up against Genocide, Support for Palestine," the participants will demonstrate their opposition to what they view as a systematic genocide carried out by the Zionist occupiers.

Aziz Oğuzhan Karaman, ANFIDAP Term Spokesperson and President of the City and Civilization Association, called on everyone with a "sensitive conscience" to stand in solidarity with Palestinians facing daily violence and oppression. “We are waiting for all people with a sensitive conscience residing in Ankara and the surrounding provinces of Ankara for our march,” said Karaman. “We are organizing this march not only to oppose the genocide perpetuated by the Israeli occupation regime but also to express our support for Palestine.”

Karaman underscored the urgent need for global resistance against the ongoing Israeli aggression İn Gaza and Lebanon. “The name of our march is ‘Stand Up against Genocide and Support for Palestine’. It has been a year now that the genocide has continued uninterruptedly. We are calling for a march with the motto of rebellion against this genocide of Israel and the countries such as the USA, England, and France that support this genocide, along with the societies and states that remain silent.”

The march organizers hope to see participation from all sectors of society, including associations, foundations, political parties, and ordinary citizens. The event is framed as a universal call to conscience, urging people to take a stand against oppression and to support those enduring the occupation in Gaza. "We expect the whole society to participate in this rebellion," Karaman emphasized, calling on all segments of society to unite in opposition to the ongoing violence.

By organizing this march, ANFIDAP seeks to demonstrate solidarity with Palestinians and demand an end to what they view as international complicity in the suffering of the Palestinian people. The march represents a call to action, reminding participants that the struggle for justice and human rights transcends borders and demands global attention.

The march will serve as a testament to the enduring solidarity between Türkiye and Palestine, and it is expected to be a significant event in the international campaign for Palestinian rights. (ILKHA)
