Hezbollah denies reports of new leadership following Nasrallah's martyrdom

In an official statement issued by Hezbollah, the group emphasized that any news concerning changes in its leadership must be confirmed through official channels.

Hezbollah dismissed media claims suggesting that Hashem Safieddine, a senior Hezbollah official, was expected to succeed Nasrallah. The statement stressed that such reports are unsubstantiated.

Some media outlets had speculated that Safieddine would likely take over leadership following the death of Nasrallah, who had led Hezbollah for 32 years until he was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs last Friday.

Hezbollah urged caution and reiterated that any organizational changes would only be officially announced by the Resistance Movement itself. (ILKHA)
