The event, which was organized in support of the Palestinian people suffering under Israeli “genocide,” highlighted the escalating violence since the start of Operation al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.

Ayık condemned the atrocities in Gaza, where over 40,000 innocent civilians have been killed, including nearly half being children. “We are witnessing one of the most devastating acts of cruelty in world history,” he stated, describing Gaza’s destruction, from hospitals to schools, as deliberate and systemic. The attacks, according to Ayık, are designed to annihilate not only the people of Gaza but also to disrupt basic survival, leading to starvation, a lack of medicine, and widespread despair.

What has intensified concern is the extension of these hostilities beyond Gaza. According to HÜDA PAR, Israel’s aggression is spreading to Lebanon, with the Southern Suburbs and Bekaa region under heavy fire. Ayık warned that Israel’s actions will not be confined to Lebanon. "This attack will not stop at Lebanon; it is part of a broader plan threatening Türkiye, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, and the entire region," he stressed, calling for immediate regional cooperation.

Ayık criticized international institutions for their inaction, questioning the global community’s silence on the genocide in Gaza and the expanding violence. He urged for the formation of a regional intervention force and emphasized the need for practical steps to halt Israel’s territorial ambitions. “How long will this silence continue?” he asked, urging countries in the region to unite against the Zionist regime.

In a direct call to action, Ayık outlined a multi-faceted strategy to confront the Israeli occupation. His demands included boycotting products supporting Israel, halting all trade, particularly oil shipments, and backing Hamas' terms for a permanent ceasefire. He also emphasized the importance of implementing international resolutions to end the conflict and allow for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza.

Ayık’s rhetoric linked the ongoing situation to the broader fight for al-Quds (Jerusalem), urging the formation of a “Quds Alliance,” mobilizing armies from regional countries like Türkiye to counter the Israeli military. His impassioned speech drew on religious motivations, quoting from the Quran to rally support for the cause, and concluded with a prayer for the people of Gaza.

The press conference was not only a reflection of HÜDA PAR’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but also a rallying cry for wider regional involvement, suggesting that the situation in Gaza is just one part of a larger geopolitical struggle. The party’s leadership made clear their determination to continue defending the Palestinian cause and the broader Muslim world against what they perceive as ongoing Israeli aggression.

The event ended with a series of demands directed at the global community, encouraging sustained economic boycotts, diplomatic efforts to recognize the Palestinian state, and concrete measures to protect Lebanon from further violence. (ILKHA)
