Israel launches fresh airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs
Israeli occupation forces launched new airstrikes on the Dahiyeh area of Beirut, targeting the al-Ghabiri district in the southern suburbs, according to local media in Lebanon.

The attack took place on Tuesday, with initial reports suggesting that the strike aimed to assassinate a senior Hezbollah official.
Details of the attack remain limited, though some sources indicate that the intended target was Ali Karki, a commander of Hezbollah’s southern front. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz also reported that the primary goal of the assault was to eliminate Karki.
This follows a similar attack by Israeli forces on Monday, where the Mazi neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburbs was struck. Local news sources reported that six rockets were fired during the airstrikes.
These incidents mark an escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, with heightened tensions across Lebanon and the region.
