Turkish confidence index shows growth in services and retail, decline in Construction
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) released its latest confidence index data on Tuesday, revealing a mixed performance across various sectors.
The seasonally adjusted confidence index in the services sector experienced a slight uptick, increasing by 0.6% to reach 112.6 in September compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile, the retail trade sector witnessed a more significant boost, with the confidence index rising by 2.5% to 110.6.
However, the construction sector saw a decline in confidence, with the index decreasing by 0.2% to 87.8 in September.
These figures highlight the varying trends within the Turkish economy, as some sectors demonstrate signs of growth while others face challenges. (ILKHA)
