Tragic bee attack kills woman and three children in eastern India
A woman and her three young children were killed after being attacked by a swarm of bees in Jharkhand, eastern India.
The victims, aged 1, 5, and 8, were bathing in a well near the family’s home when the swarm suddenly descended upon them, according to the woman’s husband. Two of the children died at the scene from their injuries, while the mother and the surviving child succumbed during treatment at a nearby hospital.
The family had been visiting the woman’s maternal home for the weekend, where they decided to bathe in the well. The sudden bee attack caused panic in the area, with nearby individuals fleeing to safety.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. (ILKHA)
