Turkish forces kill 3 PKK members in Iraq and Syria
The Turkish Defense Ministry announced on Monday that three members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in operations conducted in Iraq and northern Syria.
According to the ministry's statement, two PKK militants were neutralized in the Operation Claw-Lock region of northern Iraq, while another PKK/YPG member was eliminated in the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria.
These operations are part of Türkiye's ongoing efforts to combat the PKK, which it designates as a terrorist organization, as well as to counter threats from affiliated groups in the region. (ILKHA)
