A delegation from Hope Caravan has been in Uganda for several days, undertaking various humanitarian initiatives, including the distribution of dairy goats, hosting a Mawlid dinner, and laying the groundwork for the Martyr Ismail Haniyeh Mosque. As part of their efforts, they have provided eye surgeries for those suffering from cataracts.

Mehmet Nurullah Günaydın, the foundation’s Secretary General, shared details about the cataract project, noting that around 200 patients received treatment. "The situation here is deeply concerning," said Günaydın. "Many patients are awaiting surgeries, and without timely intervention, cataracts can lead to permanent blindness. We have seen the need firsthand and urge philanthropists to contribute so that more patients can receive the care they need."

The foundation's ongoing work highlights the urgent healthcare needs in Uganda and the critical role of donations in expanding these life-changing treatments. (ILKHA)
