Palestinian Health Ministry dispatches aid to Gaza Strip
The Palestinian Ministry of Health on Wednesday sent five trucks of essential medicines and medical supplies to the Gaza Strip from its warehouses in Nablus.
This shipment marks the first significant aid delivery to Gaza since the escalation of violence.
Saleh Thawabtah, Director General of Warehouses at the Ministry of Health, announced that the delivery was coordinated under the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, and supervised by Health Minister Majed Abu Ramadan.
The aid, intended for hospitals in Gaza's southern governorates, includes supplies for bone injuries, antibiotics, kidney dialysis materials, and other critical medical resources.
Thawabtah expressed hope that this shipment would help alleviate the suffering in Gaza and confirmed that an additional five trucks are scheduled to be sent next week. (ILKHA)
