This will mark the first time the airline operates out of Sydney, complementing its existing three weekly flights from Melbourne, which fly via Singapore.

In addition to the new route, Turkish Airlines plans to introduce a non-stop direct flight between Sydney and Istanbul, significantly enhancing travel options for Australians heading to Europe.

Known for flying to more countries than any other airline, Turkish Airlines offers flights to 130 destinations, with connections to 340 cities worldwide. It is now the second European airline to serve Australia, alongside British Airways, following the exit of other major European carriers from the region in recent years.

This expansion underscores Turkish Airlines' commitment to increasing its global reach, offering Australians more convenient access to Europe and beyond. (ILKHA)
