During a press conference held at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), Ramanlı called these efforts an exploitation of human suffering for political gain, describing the situation as “monstrous politics based on interest.”

Ramanlı expressed deep sorrow over the child’s death and extended his wishes for the swift apprehension of those responsible. He noted that HÜDA PAR officials, along with other political parties and NGOs, visited the family to offer condolences, rejecting claims that the party had ties to the victim's family.

“There is no HÜDA PAR member from the village where the family resides,” Ramanlı stated, dismissing allegations made by the DEM Party and others. He criticized attempts to politically associate the incident with HÜDA PAR, arguing that such tactics were being used to score political points. “This is pure exploitation of the incident for political profit,” he said, citing Bediüzzaman Said Nursi's teachings against "interest-based politics."

Ramanlı emphasized that individuals should be judged on their actions, not their social, religious, or political affiliations. He stressed that HÜDA PAR does not absolve its members from wrongdoing and applies this principle universally. “A person’s political view, religion, or origin is not decisive in judging them,” he explained.

The spokesperson also highlighted that HÜDA PAR is not politically dominant in the region, further undermining the rumors. He condemned the media for misrepresenting remarks made by HÜDA PAR Executive Board Member Vedat Turgut during a statement at the Forensic Medicine Institute in Diyarbakır. Ramanlı urged people to view the full video of Turgut's speech, which called for a return to faith-based principles to prevent societal ills.

“Good and evil exist everywhere, but if society followed these values, such monstrosities would not occur,” Ramanlı said, adding that the world has witnessed greater atrocities, such as the Gaza genocide and the Hiroshima bombings, committed by those who have lost their moral compass.

Ramanlı concluded by reiterating that HÜDA PAR stands firmly against the political exploitation of this tragedy and urged the public to rely on facts, not rumors. (ILKHA)
