Türkiye's total turnover up 39.8% year-over-year
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) reported on Wednesday that the country's total turnover, encompassing industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, surged by 39.8% in July 2024 compared to the same month last year.

This robust growth was driven by strong performances across all sectors, with construction leading the way at 58.8% and services following closely at 56.1%.
On a monthly basis, total turnover declined by 0.4% in July 2024 compared to June 2024. While industry and trade sectors experienced slight increases, construction and services sectors saw declines of 8.6% and 1.3% respectively.
Overall, the Turkish economy demonstrated remarkable dynamism in July 2024, with a significant boost to total turnover across various sectors. (ILKHA)
