Türkiye’s export momentum continues with eight-month growth—Trade Minister
Türkiye’s export momentum has remained strong for eight consecutive months, with the export climate index reaching 51.3 in August, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced on Tuesday.
The data, derived from the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s Türkiye Manufacturing Sector Export Climate Index, reflects a positive trend in the country’s export activities, continuing its upward trajectory since the beginning of the year.
“Thanks to the policies implemented by our government and the Ministry of Trade, along with steps taken in collaboration with the business community, our export climate continues to strengthen,” Minister Bolat said in a statement on X.
Bolat emphasized that the government is committed to providing full support to manufacturers, farmers, exporters, and service providers, ensuring continued growth in key export markets. He reiterated the government's dedication, stating, “As always, our backing remains unwavering.”
The Minister also underscored Türkiye’s alignment with its global economic objectives and expressed gratitude to the country’s exporters for their contributions to this success.
