Turkish President Erdoğan congratulates Algeria’s President Tebboune on re-election
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during which he congratulated him on his success in the recent presidential elections.
Tebboune, who secured re-election with a higher percentage of votes, was commended by Erdoğan for his leadership and the continued support shown by the Algerian people.
During the call, Erdoğan expressed his confidence that the stability and prosperity of Algeria will strengthen further during Tebboune's new term. He also highlighted the importance of continuing to develop Türkiye-Algeria bilateral relations, emphasizing the strong bonds of brotherhood between the two nations.
Erdoğan extended an invitation to President Tebboune to visit Türkiye. He also praised Algeria’s efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. Erdoğan affirmed Türkiye's commitment to working alongside Algeria to stop the attacks on the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. (ILKHA)
