Turkish presidency: Erdoğan closely follows investigation into death of Narin Güran
Fahrettin Altun, Head of Communications for the Turkish Presidency, announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is closely monitoring the investigation into the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose body was discovered on Sunday morning after going missing 19 days earlier in Diyarbakır.
In a statement on X, Altun expressed the deep sorrow and anger felt over the tragic incident, emphasizing that Erdoğan is committed to ensuring the investigation proceeds thoroughly.
"We are all devastated by the discovery of Narin, who went missing 19 days ago in Bağlar, Diyarbakır, and was searched for by our security forces from the very first moment," Altun wrote, conveying his grief.
Altun also stressed that Erdoğan is actively following the case to guarantee that the investigation is conducted with "utmost diligence" and that those responsible for Narin's death are swiftly brought to justice. (ILKHA)
