According to reports, the migrants were stopped by Greek Coast Guard teams as they neared Lesbos Island. The Greek forces allegedly forced the migrants, who were in a rubber boat, back into Turkish waters, leaving them stranded and at risk of death.

The Turkish Coast Guard, operating the boat "KB-119," responded to the situation and successfully rescued the 21 migrants, including the two children. After being brought ashore, the migrants were transferred to the Foreigners Repatriation Center in Ayvacık for further processing.

The incident highlights ongoing tensions and concerns over the treatment of migrants in the Aegean Sea, as pushback practices continue to draw international criticism. (ILKHA)
