21 irregular migrants, including 9 children, rescued off Izmir coast
Turkish Coast Guard teams successfully rescued 21 irregular migrants, including 9 children, from a drifting rubber boat off the coast of Seferihisar district, Izmir, on Friday.
According to a statement from the Coast Guard Command, the boat was detected in distress, and a swift rescue operation was launched. All individuals were safely brought ashore.
Following the rescue, the migrants were transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for processing.
