Palestinian media reported that the Israeli raids have caused significant destruction, with bulldozers tearing through streets and infrastructure in Jenin and Tulkarm’s refugee camps. According to local reports, Israeli forces dropped bombs on the Tulkarm refugee camp, igniting fires in the Al-Shamaliya neighborhood. At least eight people required treatment for suffocation, while Israeli snipers took positions on rooftops and spy drones hovered overhead.

The situation in Jenin remains dire, as the city has been under siege for around a week. Israeli forces have sent additional reinforcements to the area, further intensifying the destruction. Many residents are now facing severe shortages of food, drinking water, and medicine.

The ongoing aggression has resulted in a death toll of at least 33 Palestinians in the West Bank since the offensive began on August 28, according to Palestinian media reports.

Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance groups, particularly the Jenin Battalion of the Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades, have continued to fight back. In a statement released on Tuesday, the group claimed responsibility for detonating pre-prepared explosive devices targeting Israeli occupation military vehicles on key supply lines, and engaging in fierce battles with Israeli forces across multiple combat fronts. Israeli media have described these explosive devices as posing a significant threat to the occupation forces.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces have arrested at least 30 Palestinians in raids across the West Bank since last night, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society. Among those detained were children and former prisoners. This latest wave of arrests brings the total number of Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in the West Bank since October 7 to over 10,400.

The ongoing aggression has drawn widespread concern, with the humanitarian situation in the West Bank deteriorating rapidly as the conflict shows no sign of abating. (ILKHA)
