European Orphan Hand provides aid to flood-affected families in Yemen
Thousands of families have been severely impacted by floods caused by heavy rains in several Yemeni cities at the beginning of August.
In response to the ongoing crisis, the humanitarian organization European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli) has delivered food packages, blankets, and cash assistance to those in need.
The floods, which have affected more than a quarter of a million people, have left many families struggling to survive, particularly in the Marib region, where numerous displaced individuals are living in tent cities. European Orphan Hand, with the support of philanthropists, has been actively providing relief in these hard-hit areas.
The organization distributed essential food parcels to families in the Marib region, aiming to alleviate the immediate hardships caused by the severe weather conditions. European Orphan Hand has committed to continuing its aid efforts in the region, with plans for further assistance in the coming weeks.
With the ongoing support of donors, European Orphan Hand will persist in delivering vital resources to those affected by the floods, ensuring that the most vulnerable receive the help they desperately need. (ILKHA)
