Erdoğan congratulates Aliyev on election victory in Azerbaijan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, congratulating him on the victory of the New Azerbaijan Party in the recent parliamentary elections.
During the call, Erdoğan highlighted that the election results reflect the Azerbaijani people's confidence in President Aliyev and his party's leadership. He commended the democratic and peaceful environment in which the elections were conducted.
Erdoğan also underscored the significance of holding elections across all of Azerbaijan's sovereign territories, including regions liberated from occupation, for the first time in 30 years, marking a milestone in the nation's history.
