His visit, as reported by the Faryab Department of Information and Culture, was marked by calls for unity and the avoidance of division, discrimination, tribalism, and linguistic bias within the country.

In his remarks to officials from both civil and military departments of the Islamic Emirate, Sheikh Akhundzada underscored the need for rigorous enforcement of divine limits (punishments), ensuring the safety of citizens' lives and property, and providing quality education for religious students, school children, and university students. He also stressed the importance of promoting virtue within society and urged officials not to forget the sacrifices made by the families of martyrs, the wounded, and those who fought alongside them during difficult times.

The leader of the Islamic Emirate also announced that the 24th of Asad, according to the Afghan solar calendar, would be named "Yawm al-Fath" (Day of Victory) in recognition of the Emirate's achievements. Local experts, including Edris Mohammadi Zazai, expressed support for this initiative, noting its potential to foster national unity.

During his visit, Sheikh Akhundzada also received feedback from Faryab residents, who expressed their satisfaction with his presence but also raised concerns about the province's infrastructure needs. Residents requested the construction of water dams and the repair of roads damaged by recent floods to enhance self-sufficiency and improve living conditions.

In addition to his visit to Faryab, Sheikh Akhundzada recently visited Badghis province, where he met with local officials, tribal elders, and religious scholars to discuss various issues affecting the region.

This visit and the statements made by the leader of the Islamic Emirate highlight the government's focus on enforcing religious principles and addressing the concerns of Afghan citizens at the provincial level. (ILKHA)
