Afghan delegation visits China for agricultural conference
A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate has traveled to China to participate in a trilateral agricultural conference involving China, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
The conference, which will take place over ten days in Shijiazhuang, China, will focus on various aspects of China's agricultural programs, including its ten-year plan and the factors driving its agricultural advancement.
The program will also address capacity building for agricultural workers and farmers, China's self-sufficiency in agriculture, and the use of technologies such as GIS and MIS in agricultural development.
The delegation aims to learn from China's successful agricultural practices and experiences and transfer them to Afghanistan. They will visit agricultural facilities, equipment, and machinery in China.
The delegation, led by Mawlawi Sediqullah Rahmani, Director of Seed Certification, includes Abdul Khaliq Mohajob, Head of Alternative Livelihoods, as well as advisors Mirwais Khogiani and Shafiullah Momand from the Ministry of Agriculture, and other agricultural experts. (ILKHA)
