In Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Israeli aircraft targeted a residence belonging to the Abu Daqqa family in Abasan al-Kabira. The airstrike resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left several others injured. The wounded were rushed to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis for treatment.

Meanwhile, in northern Gaza, two more people, including a child, lost their lives when Israeli forces struck a residential apartment near the al-Houja junction in the Jabalia refugee camp.

Additional strikes in the region led to more casualties. Paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent transported injured individuals to Al-Awda Hospital in the Nusairat camp following an Israeli strike on a home belonging to the Al-Qassas family in the northeast part of the camp. Seven individuals suffering from serious injuries were also transferred to Nasser Hospital after an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the village of al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis.

Israeli artillery continued its bombardment of several areas, targeting the eastern and southern parts of al-Zaytoun, southeast of Gaza City, as well as the western sections of the city, including al-Rimal, Tel al-Hawa, and the outskirts of al-Shati camp. The al-Sabra neighborhood also came under heavy fire.

The shelling extended to the northern regions of the Nusairat camp and the western parts of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, have resulted in at least 40,602 documented Palestinian fatalities and 93,855 injuries. Many victims are still believed to be trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings. The situation continues to deteriorate as airstrikes and shelling persist across the enclave. (ILKHA)
