Turkish forces capture 12 suspects attempting to cross into Greece
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced on Wednesday that 12 individuals were apprehended while attempting to illegally cross the border into Greece from Edirne.

Border guards in Edirne intercepted the suspects as they tried to escape the country.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that 3 of the individuals were connected to the FETÖ, a terrorist organization responsible for the 2016 coup attempt in Türkiye. (ILKHA)
