The situation has triggered widespread panic and concern across the Israeli occupation, leading to significant security measures and disruptions.

In response to Hezbollah's military strikes, Israeli authorities swiftly implemented a series of restrictions throughout occupied Palestine. These measures extend from the Lebanese border to the central region of Gush Dan, including Greater Tel Aviv, the northern and southern occupied Golan Heights, al-Jalil, the Jordan Valley, and Carmel, according to reports from Israeli media outlets.

The heightened security situation has also impacted air travel, with scheduled flights to and from Tel Aviv facing delays. Ben Gurion Airport, Israel's main international gateway, has been shut down for both landings and take-offs due to escalating security concerns. In addition, beaches in the occupied city of Haifa have been closed to Israeli settlers as a precautionary measure.

In light of the ongoing tension, the Israeli security cabinet convened an emergency meeting on Sunday morning. The weekly government meeting, initially scheduled for the same day, was postponed due to the security threats.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, known as Hezbollah, launched what it described as an "initial response" to the assassination of Commander Martyr Fouad Shokor. The attack, carried out at dawn on the anniversary of Imam Hussein's Arbaeen, involved the deployment of a large number of drones deep into the occupied Palestinian territories.

Hezbollah's statement indicated that the attack targeted a strategic Israeli military site, though details about the specific target are expected to be disclosed later. Simultaneously, Hezbollah struck multiple sites, military barracks, and Iron Dome installations in northern occupied Palestine with a heavy barrage of missiles.

Hezbollah announced that these military operations would continue for some time, with a comprehensive statement to be issued later, outlining the course and objectives of the operations. The group emphasized its readiness to respond decisively to any Israeli aggression and warned of severe consequences, particularly if civilians are targeted.

Hezbollah confirmed the successful completion of the first phase of its response to the assassination of Martyr Shokor. In this phase, Hezbollah targeted Israeli barracks and sites to facilitate the passage of attack drones towards their intended targets deep within the occupied Palestinian territory. According to the statement, the drones reached their destinations as planned.

Additionally, Hezbollah reported that over 320 Katyusha rockets were fired, targeting enemy positions. The statement listed several successful targets within the occupied Palestinian territory, including Meron Base, Naftali Ze'ev artillery position, Zaitoun Base, Zaoura artillery positions, Al-Sahel Base, Kila Barracks in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, U.F. Barracks in the Syrian Golan Heights, Nafah Base in the Syrian Golan Heights, Yardan Base in the Syrian Golan Heights, Ein Zivitim Base, and Ramot Naftali Base.

As the situation continues to develop, both sides remain on high alert, with further military actions expected in the coming days. (ILKHA)
