In his weekly address concerning developments in Palestine and the region, Sayyed Al-Houthi stated that the ship, bombed earlier this week, was severely damaged and subsequently swept away by ocean waves. The vessel was reportedly targeted for attempting to breach the imposed ban on entering Israeli enemy ports.

Al-Houthi revealed that the Yemeni support operations this week involved the launch of 21 ballistic missiles, the deployment of a drone, and a naval boat in various military actions. He emphasized that these operations are part of the broader Yemeni support for the "Battle of the Promised Victory" and "Holy Jihad" against Israel.

Since the beginning of these operations, the number of ships targeted for their ties to the Israeli enemy or for violating the imposed embargo has reached 182, according to Al-Houthi. "This is a significant and large number, despite many ships altering their course from the Indian Ocean and its farthest reaches," he stated. He also mentioned the ongoing impact of these operations on the enemy's economy, including the complete shutdown of the Umm al-Rashrash port, also known as Elite City.

The recent targeting of ships underscores the ongoing tension in the region. On Wednesday, the UK Maritime Trade Operations reported an attack on a ship located 57 nautical miles south of the Yemeni city of Aden. Additionally, another vessel was reported sinking 77 nautical miles west of Hodeida.

The situation remains tense as Yemeni forces continue their operations against targets they associate with Israel, further exacerbating the conflict in the region. (ILKHA)
