UAE accepts credentials of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's ambassador
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially accepted the credentials of Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to the UAE.
In a formal ceremony, Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani presented his credentials to Saif Abdullah Al-Shamsi, the Assistant Minister for Protocol at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event marks a significant step in the diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and the UAE.
During the ceremony, Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani emphasized the historical ties between the two nations and expressed his gratitude for the continued cooperation and assistance provided by the UAE. He conveyed his optimism for further strengthening bilateral relations under his tenure.
Saif Abdullah Al-Shamsi, on behalf of the UAE, expressed hope that the relationship between the two countries would deepen with the new ambassador's appointment.
According to the Ministry's press release, Mawlawi Badruddin Haqqani is expected to present his credentials to the Emir of the United Arab Emirates in a forthcoming formal ceremony, further solidifying his role as Afghanistan's ambassador. (ILKHA)
