In a statement shared by the organization, the Civil Defense reported that bodies of 750 Gazan martyrs were deteriorated as the zionist occupation forces deployed prohibited weapons in its offensive on Gaza while the bodies of 10 thousand people went missing under the rubble.

Not only the innocent civilians, mostly children and women, are the target of the zionist regime, but animals and even dead bodies are being targeted by the occupying israeli forces in Gaza. The statement read, “We have witnessed that some 760 bodies of the martyrs were decomposed, while bodies of more than 10 thousand people are still under the debris. We are unable to take those out as the occupiers did not allow entrance of required equipment to Gaza. Moreover, 2,210 corpses of martyrs have been disappeared from where they were buried.”

In addition to the missing bodies, the Civil Defense said that their members were also continuously massacred by zionist regime. The statement underscored that the organization has lost 82 members so far since the beginning of the genocide. “The occupation has dropped some 85-tons of bombs that destroyed more than 80% of urban structures, and 90% of infrastructure. Our teams have done 40 years’ work in this period.” the statement said.

The Gaza Civil Defense teams were unable to respond 15,000 calls because of shortage in fuel, manpower and equipment. However, despite the shortcomings and continuing genocide, the teams of Gaza Civil Defense were able to deliver 72,000 search and rescue, and 11,530 fire extinguishing operations.

Israel, during the Gaza massacre it initiated in October of last year, frequently used prohibited weapons, killing over 40,000 civilians, the majority of whom were women and children. The occupation regime besieges citizens in an area it claims to be humanitarian and secure, equivalent to 10.5% of the Gaza Strip's total area. (ILKHA)
